Tier One is a locally owned garage door company based in Northwest Austin. For over 7 years, we have repaired and installed garage doors and openers for homeowners and businesses across the Austin area.
How we work
A garage door problem is rarely convenient. It usually shows up when you are trying to leave for work or get the house locked up for the night. Our job is to get to you quickly, tell you plainly what is wrong, and fix it properly.
That comes down to a few habits we hold to on every job:
- Check the whole door. A broken part often has a cause somewhere else in the system. We inspect springs, cables, rollers, tracks, opener and safety sensors on every visit.
- Explain before we act. You see what failed and hear the options.
- Agree the price first. You approve the cost before work begins.
- Recommend what we would do at our own home. If a repair is the sensible choice, we will not steer you toward a new door.

Our office is at 5758 Balcones Dr, Unit 201, Austin, TX 78731, in the Northwest Hills area. From there we cover Austin and the surrounding communities in Travis, Williamson and Hays counties.
Working in one region means we know its housing: the detached garages of Hyde Park, the mid-century ranch homes of Allandale and Barton Hills, the master planned communities of Circle C and Steiner Ranch, and the new construction in Leander and Buda. Each has its own typical doors and its own typical problems.
